We have been Charlotte’s premier cabinet refinishing company since we launched in 2009.
In 2001, Stuart Andrews began offering decorative painting, faux finishes, murals & high-end custom paintwork to Charlotte’s top interior design firms & discerning homeowners. Reacting to market demand, in 2009, Stuart created The Renewed Cabinet Company. His vision was to provide the affordable option of bringing new life to existing cabinets without the high cost of complete replacement. Some clients also choose to replace their existing doors & hardware for a total transformation.
With a wide array of custom finishes available, your cabinets will look brand new at a fraction of the cost of complete replacement.

OUR PROCESS
We always treat our client’s homes as if they were our own. Below is a step by step overview of what you can expect as a client of Renewed Cabinet.
INITIAL CONSULTATION
We help to create the best design for the look you’d like to achieve. We thoroughly measure and take pictures of your existing kitchen cabinets to accurately estimate your project.
DOOR & DRAWER REMOVAL
We carefully remove your cabinet doors and drawers to prep and paint at our studio. During this stage, interested clients can also have a glaze and sealant coat applied.
HOME PREPARATIONS
We carefully apply plastic, tape and drop cloths to your counter tops, appliances, floors etc. to protect your home during the finish application.
RE-INSTALLATION
We re-install your completed cabinet doors and drawers after all applied coats have cured. They are then functionally tested and adjusted as needed.
THOROUGH CLEANING
After the kitchen has been reassembled, we perform a thorough cleaning so it’s spotless for the final inspection.
QUALITY INSPECTION
At the end of each job, we walk through the kitchen with every client to be sure any touch ups receive the attention they deserve.
